A one-year intensive master’s program taught in English to foster expertise in managing disasters

We would like to inform you about the international Master's program on Disaster & Emergency Management that will be conducted in the Tel Aviv University, Israel The horrific consequences of the recent disasters such as the massive deaths, injuries, evacuated populations and destructed homes resulting from Hurricane Matthew; the numerous refugees which are continuously caused by the ongoing Syrian civil war; or the deep concern of ongoing repercussions to the public health due to the Zika virus; all accentuate the vital need to expand the community of competent and trained responders. This is the main aim of that international Master's program.

The one-year program combines theoretical studies covering the various aspects of disaster preparedness and management with visits to emergency entities, including participation in drills which simulate various scenarios. Attached a brochure of the academic program. The faculty is based on leading lecturers, many of which are renowned for both their academic/research activities as well as field experience in disaster management. The students come from a variety of countries from both Europe and North America.
